Youth and Family Services Inc. (YFS) (Logan City)
usual hours of operation are: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
YFS is a resource for women in the Logan Region, (just south of Brisbane). Funded by State Government to work with survivors of abuse in  non-spousal domestic relationships  eg dating or intimate personal relationships (any age, relationship is more than a couple of dates and not yet defacto,  family relationships (non-spousal, inc immediate and extended family, those considered to be family, Aboriginal and Islander kinship ties, people engaged and/or betrothed) and  informal care relationships (Carer not officially paid except by Carers Pension, provides care necessary for daily function).

YFS also provides a 16 week psycho-educational behaviour change group for men who use abusive behaviour, called Men Overcoming Violence for Equality (M.O.V.E.). and in conjunction with Logan Women's Health Centre, a Women and Anger Issues Group which appropriately assists women who are often themselves survivors of DV to handle their own reactions and responses constructively.
